A correctly sized wakeboard can make all the difference for a rider. A board that's too small won't have enough buoyancy and a board that is too big will be difficult to control. If you're the only one riding the board, it's important to get the correct size. Weight is the main factor, but a taller rider can ride a longer board. If you're buying a board to share, buy based on the heaviest rider. A smaller person can ride a longer board, but a heavier rider will sink a smaller board.
